Add CA Certificate to Thunderbird

Automated Installer

  1. Using the web browser on a filtered device, visit http://draw.bridge/sslcerts/dashboard.
  2. Select your operating system, then follow the instructions to run the installer.
  3. Thunderbird will now trust the DrawBridge filter certificate. If Thunderbird was open when running the installer, please restart Thunderbird to apply the changes.

Manual Installation in Thunderbird

  1. Click here to downloaded the needed certificate file.

  2. In Thunderbird, click the menu button Hamburger menu icon in the upper right corner, then click Settings.

  3. On the left side column, select Privacy & Security, then scroll down and click Manage Certificates...

You can also use the search box in the upper right corner of Settings to find specific Thunderbird preferences.

  1. Verify that the Authorities tab is selected, then click Import...
  2. Locate the SSL_Certificate.der file downloaded in Step 1, then click Open.
  3. Select both check boxes, then click OK.
  4. Congratulations, Thunderbird is now using the DrawBridge certificate. Click OK to close the Certificate Manager window and begin using Thunderbird.
