Clavis Login

This is intended for a public doc somewhere.

Clavis is our Compass single signin service.

  • Clavis allows you to use a single set of credentuals to loginto many of our different services that a user has access to including: All the Draw Bridge filter consoles, Portal, Beacon, and Vision Market

Clavis access must be granted by Compass Foundation and is available upon request.

Clavis login is tied to a browser session as well, so that after logging in you can quickly log into these services with a single button click. Because of this "easy of access" after logged in, there is added security involved with logging in and will be required in the near future. This includes the use of 2FA which will require a password and a key. For this key you can use a Yubikey, Fingerprint, or Face id depending on what your particular device supports.

Clearing the cache of your browser will require you to log into the clavis server again.

First time setup

  1. Click the 'Login in with Clavis" button from one of our services login page or go to clavis.compassfoundation.io.
  2. Your username will be the email address we have on record in our system for the clavis user attempting to login.
  3. You will need to setup a password by clicking the "forgot password" button which will send an email to your email account with a link to set your password.
  4. Open this link and enter your new password. Remenber to use strong passwords
  5. you may now login with this newly created password.
    • Next you will need to set up your 2FA credentuals.
  6. Navegate to your Person record under Accounts on the left hand column if you are not already at this page.
  7. Select the Credentials tab in the tab bar in the middle of the main window.
  8. Add a Credential using the button in the upper left of the lower section of the main window.
  9. Next click Register Hardware Key or Device. Note: it is recommended that you set up at least 2
    • Depending on your device funtionality this can be :
      • Yubikey
      • Face ID
      • Finger Print
  10. Setup complete. Now when you use the clavis login on a new browser or if the browser cache has been deleted and you are asked to log into clavis, you will first enter you username and password and then you will be prompted to confirm with one of the Credentials you have set up.Y
